Q: What is your refund policy on textbooks?
A: Harbour College Stores will provide for refund and/or exchange within 14 days from the date that the semester starts. Register receipt, charge receipt or voucher must accompany the refund. All merchandise must be in the same condition as when purchased. For full details about returns/refunds, please click here.
 
Q: What methods of payment are accepted?
A: Harbour College Stores accepts cash, VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and debit. We will also accept checks with valid ID. All checks can be made out to: Harbour College Stores. All checks must include valid drivers lisence. Address on check MUST match address on lisence. If you are mailing in an order with a check, please provide a copy of your driver lisence. Our checks are processed through Telechek which requires all of this information.
 
Q: How can I get a book voucher?
A: Book vouchers are provided by financial aid. You must speak to the financial aid department of your appropriate college to find out more about them.
 
Q: What is the difference between new and used textbooks?
A: Whenever possible, we’ll provide you with a choice between new and used textbooks. While some prefer books free from marks and highlighting, others may appreciate our used textbooks, which could save you 20% (sometimes more!) over the cost of a new textbook. We will stock as many used books as possible; however, as you can imagine, they are generally in high demand. Used books are generally highlighted, or written in. Some used books may not have a CD with them.
 
Q: Do I need my receipt for buyback?
A: You do not need your original sales receipt for a buyback. We only require you bring your photo ID. For more information about buybacks, click here. We only require your sales receipt if you need to make a return/exchange.
 
Q: Are Returns the same as Buybacks?
A: No. Returns and Buybacks are two separate things. They are often mistaken for being the same.
