Refund Policy
Harbour College Stores will provide for refund and/or exchange within 14 days from the date that the semester starts. Register receipt, charge receipt or voucher must accompany the refund. All merchandise must be in the same condition as when purchased. This means, if you bought a book in new condition, it must be returned in new condition, un-opened and not written in.
If you purchased a book in new condition and have opened it, or written in it, we can only provide the used cost as refund.

Lost Receipt
If you have lost your register receipt, or voucher copy we cannot refund you cash back. There are no exceptions to this. We will only provide you with a store credit within 14 days of start date of semester. No cash back without valid sales receipt.

Refunds for Checks
If you paid by check, no cash refund until your check clears. Checks take 7 business days to clear. Before 7 days we can provide you with a store credit, but no cash back until 7 day check clearance.

Cash Refunds
If you paid cash, we will refund you cash with valid register receipt. If you cannot provide a sales receipt, we will not refund you cash.

Credit Card/Debit Refunds
All credit card/debit purchases can be refunded to your credit card/debit card. You must come in with the same card you used for your purchase and we will refund the cost on the card. If you cannot provide a sales receipt, we cannot refund your card.

Refunds After 14 days
The only exception to the 14 days rule are students who drop their class. In this case the drop slip and register/voucher receipt must accompany the the return. We must see the drop slip for the appropriate book to accomodate you. If you are not dropping the class and it has been over 14 days, we will buy back your book during the appriopriate time.

Voucher Refunds
If you used a book voucher to pay for your textbooks, you must bring in your copy of the voucher (usually a yellow sheet of paper). If you have come in before 14 days, we will cross the book of off your bill, and you will not receive an amount for the returned book. Most book vouchers will be billed about 21 days after the first day the semester starts, so it is important to make changes to vouchers as soon as possible.

New Books
A book purchased in new condition, must be returned in new condition. It must be free from all marks, highlighting, and writing. If it was shrink-wrapped, it must still be shrink-wrapped when returning. If you purchased a book in new condition and have marked it up, we can only provide the used price back for you.

Used Books
Books purchased used will be refunded the same price as when purchased.

Damaged Merchandise
If for some reason any merchandise you have purchased from our stores was damaged when purchased, we will exchange it for a non-damaged item. Bring in your sales receipt, with the damaged item and it will be switched, with no additional charges.

Clothing Returns
If for some reason you need to return a clothing item you have purchased, you must bring in the item and the item receipt. The clothing must contain all tags as when purchased. We will not exchange/return any clothing that has been worn, or washed. Clothing must be returned in the same exact condition as when purchased. No exceptions. Under no circumstances will any worn clothing be returned/exchanged.

Miscellaneous Item Returns
Refund/exchange on a miscellaneous item require the item, complete with original package (opened or un-opened), and your register receipt. We need all of this for a refund/exchange.
